Description:

PTFE envelope gaskets combine the low friction and chemical stability of PTFE with the mechanical strength of the gasket material. This provides the user with a gasket that can be used confidently with aggressive media which would attack many other materials. PAR can supply PTFE envelope gaskets to suit all flange types and sizes.

Temperature: up to +250ºC (depending on the gasket material used).

Applications: Glass lined pipe systems, distillation columns and reactor vessels where non contamination is essential.

G1257A	V-Shape gasket enveloping is machined from PTFE gasket and inserted with Asbestos or Non-asbestos filler. It is one of the most popular gaskets and well suited to general application except for corrosive media.
G1257B	U-Shape gasket enveloping is machined from PTFE gasket and inserted with Asbestos or Non-asbestos filler. Mainly shaped into large diameter and used in toxic chemical environment.
G1257C	I-Shape gasket enveloping is cut from virgin PTFE and inserted with Asbestos or Non-asbestos filler. It is suitable for thicker sealing application and corrosive environment.
